Fifth Dimension Cuddle is an album of my most recent heart songs. Recorded with my Time Machine modular, Nord Lead 4, Digitone, and light post editing to adjust the inherent limitations of recording complex, layered performances live.

Perhaps what’s new in my approach for this release is the more complex processing of delay lines, stacked, stretched and fed back, which creates all kinds of ghosted melodies and subtle shifts in space perception. I really like it, because it makes my body feel good. Maybe it will for you too.

I also chose to leave my melodic passages totally intact without editing. The result is open, on the spot communication, unfiltered. A musical stream of consciousness.

If you listen deeply, and follow the compositional process, you’ll hear the parts of a song first performed very raw, and then gradually morphed into new sound, one step at a time, one loop iteration at a time, repeating... until it’s disintegrated into something new. Kind of like human life and the physical world.

I love drifting into lucid states of relaxation with these sounds. Please enjoy the Fifth Dimension Cuddle in your most quiet, uninterrupted environments. Or maybe enjoy it with friend, as you cuddle and appreciate the beauty of connection and interdependence.

Why do I love this masterpiece of Kinetic sound energy? You have to ask? It's quite evident from the very first track! N'est Pas? This release is deserving of the equivalent of a Grammy IMO! Too bad mainstream music executives and Media are rather "tone deaf" to "genuine" musical talent! But then again, we need that music for the MASSES! Radio stations need something to play! :) deeperthandeep2021
